Ben and Lou Cather moved into the Richardson area in 1964, originally landing in the Heights area but soon building their family home at 331 Sutton Place. They would move in just in time to welcome a new baby sister! With 5 children total, their 2 oldest boys would attend Heights Elementary while the 3 girls went to Prairie Creek. All would move on to North Jr. High and then graduate from Peace.

Ben was an electric engineer for Ti and Bell Helicopter and retired in 1997, Lou was a devoted mother and wife. Ben and Lou loved to take road trips to visit their 17 grandchildren and you could almost always find them out on the back patio during the summer days with a glass of tea.

Lou passed in 2015 and Ben currently lives in their family home with his granddaughter. They love to go on little adventures around the community. The Little Free Library is their most favorite one so far.
